I like a challenge...

a fabric challenge that is.
And because of this I couldn't help myself and I uploaded my newest design "Peanut Butter and Jellyfish" to Spoonflower last night (just in time for the February 14th deadline.) I designed this tongue in cheek fabric in preparation for their upcoming challenge theme of "Jellyfish".
I mean how could you not think of PB and J? Seriously, it's the first idea that popped into my head a few weeks back - so I ran with it.
You can preview a swatch of my submitted design below - sized to fit a fat quarter with basic repeats.

Spoonflower ~ "Ditzy Sea Creatures" fabric contest

I entered the "Ditzy Sea Creatures" fabric contest on Spoonflower this week. This is the first time I have ever designed anything to do with fabric... and/or fish and sea life for that matter.
As you'll see I took the word "ditzy" from Spoonflower's guidelines and ran with it. The creatures I designed look a bit goofy.... and no, I don't think jellyfish or octopuses have teeth.
If you're so inclined (and you like my design) please consider voting for me. My design is located on page 13, there's a preview of what it looks like below. Cheers! ~ Lori
