Although I won't be offering anything this month on the EHAG Emporium I can't wait to see what goodies everyone else has up their sleeves!
So please make sure you stop buy... and yes, I meant "buy" as in - grab something while the getting is good!!!

Say it ain't so! ~ Salty's sold out!
Just thought I'd share a fun little thing that Canadians had the opportunity to buy this year... and yeah I did buy a couple sets.
How could I resist? I couldn't! I just adore "Salty" and if Knorr is really, really savvy (which I think they are) they'll continue to market the heck out of him and his sidekick "Pepper." I know I'd like a "Salty" t-shirt, a mug, oven mitts, dishtowel etc. etc.
If you are unfamiliar with "Salty" just hop over to youtube and type in "Knorr Salty"... lots of funny commercials to be seen.

The Space-Time Continuum
Nope, I am not a huge "Trekkie" per se, but I do feel that the title of my post is very appropriate... you'll read why in just a few minutes.
Space = Space constraints for me (as in) on my work bench.
Time = Deadline.
Continuum = Me still working.
Continuum = Me still working.
Deadline = October 16th ~ The SpookyTime Jingles Soiree, which will be my very first show.
That in itself is very exciting, no?
What isn't quite as exciting is the daunting task of completing numerous pieces of folk art within a particular time-line. I don't do well with deadlines truth be told (I can handle them, I just don't like them) and with less than three months "real" working time it means I really ought to get my s**t together. Pardon my "French", I hope I did not offend you.
Below you'll see my work bench - the pieces in progress, a tray full of pieces yet to be more than hollow blanks and the 28 inches or so I have of free space in which to complete them all... think I am nuts? Yes, me too!
p.s. don't forget to check SpookyTime Jingles tonight at midnight Eastern - Loads of goodies and a wickedly cool (surprise guest artist) whom I adore - both him and his work! ~ Lori

It's almost time to P-A-R-T-Y!!!!
Yep, that's what I said! Tomorrow marks the 2nd Anniversary of SpookyTime Jingles. Yay!! I am so happy to be part of STJ and I adore the many talented artists Dani has assembled.
I am looking forward to seeing all the new creations and hope that as the clock strikes midnight on the 12/13th you'll grab your party hat, a balloon or two and stop by STJ too! ~ LoriTuesday, July 6, 2010

Now I can play queen for a day...
Thanks to Melissa Valeriote of The Holiday Queen.
I won a gorgeous little glittered crown from The Mad Tea Party giveaway on her blog. How cool is that? Pretty darn cool, if you ask me! This charming crown will be treasured and displayed proudly in my home.
