My new Zazzle store

In case you were wondering, I wasn't just sitting around watching the Olympics for the last week or so. I have been spending a lot of time in front of my computer writing lists, carefully planning, designing and generally deciding on what type of things I want to make and offer this year.

That being said, I finally decided I'd turn some of my graphics into items that can be purchased through Zazzle.
This all came about mostly from my want and desire to have a few postcards printed on the MOO website, I have since done that and am anxiously awaiting their arrival.
In the interim I thought that perhaps I would design a few more items. So... I have designed 6 different postcard images, 6 keychains, and 6 magnets.

I am hoping to design several more graphics for use on mouse pads, mugs, canvas bags, notecards, notepads and t-shirts... but you'll have to keep checking in to see any future designs because I have a couple serious deadlines I need to make before I can continue onward with more graphics.

Hope you'll all take a peek and have a wonderful week! ~ Lori

*A few mousepads have been added, thanks for the push Becca*

Kindness again today :)

Thank you Becca for including my work in your Etsy treasury! You rock!
I am proud to say that I know some of the artists/bloggers I see my art alongside of like: Chris, Nina, Matthew and Debra. Why you didn't include your own work is a mystery to me? Please hop over to visit Becca at her blog or here at her Etsy shop, you'll love her work - I do! ~ Lori

The kindness of others...

makes me very thankful indeed!
I say that because every now and then (just for fun) I "Google" my name and my company name just to see what kinds of things show up... curiosity killed the cat and all that.

Sometimes, I come across a link to my blog - in that case I try to reciprocate by linking them back, if I haven't already done so.

And sometimes I am astounded by the kindness and generosity of others who post a very nice blurb or a picture of my work on their blog.

These blog post findings make me blush (seriously) they do!
I think to myself how lucky I am that someone thought enough about me to post about something about my work.

I am very thankful to have the opportunity to create what I want to create. Thrilled that people like my work enough to give it a home. Blessed to have met so many wonderful people online - because you've made my life richer - I'm not talking money here (there's been that too, but you know what I mean) you brighten my days. I am forever in your debt and I just wanted to let you know that your kindness does not go unnoticed. I sincerely thank you for caring about me and my art. ~ Lori

Please stop by Richard's SPOOKSHOWS website, his blog and make sure you visit his zazzle store too. I bought a long sleeved shirt (1941 Francisco Spook Frolic) and a mouse pad (1950's Halloween Ghost Show) yesterday because the designs were too cool not too!

2nd post of the day ~ Candy Tub prototype no. 1 completed

I am so thrilled with how this turned out, I thought I'd share.

I mentioned a couple days ago about making candy tubs for some figures to sit in... and when I was assembling this first one today (too see if my pattern fit) I thought to myself "geez, they'd be pretty cool nuts cups too!"

That's all for today, back to the drawing board I go! ~ Lori

Remember when I started this in November???

Well, I finally finished it... well almost! I still need to trim it and seal it and perhaps sign it... then it will be complete.

I must admit it was quite a challenge to paint it. I have not done any hand painted graphics work in the last few years and this piece made me feel (somewhat inadequate and nervous) but mostly envious and very appreciative of those who can paint... and do it so very well! ~ Lori
