Hello, I'd like to extend a very warm welcome to you!
Please do look around, I'm sure you'll find many
things lurking around my Birthday party in the
Enchanted Woods. *Pics enlarge when clicked on.*
Ahem, it's not polite to ask my age ;) Let's just say,
I'm not as old as these woods and leave it at that.
Help yourself to a seat on a stump.
Please excuse the 'shroom, he'll move out of your
way quickly enough.
Oh and don't worry, his spots aren't contagious!
Why yes, there is a strange scent looming around the table.
I think that's the green "leaf" tea brewing... that or the silly, little pot that's brewing it.
Shh... we can't dish very much because he's got his eye on us and he's pretty nosy too.
After we enjoy a sip, I'll go ahead and slice the cake.
It's three, luscious layers of chocolate, filled with
ganache and decorated with chocolate and raspberry
butter cream. YUMMY!
Don't look now, but I think we've been spotted by a
few of those tippy teacups.
It looks as though they are having fun, just hanging around.
Speaking of those who are hanging around.
I do spy a trio of nutty buddies, looks like they are
happy to see you here... although one of them
seems to be somewhat dismayed.
Perhaps a spot of tea would fix him up!
If it's tea he needs... I think I have the perfect solution!
Clearly, there are no bears in these woods, but there
is a Papa, Mama and a baby teapot.
Look at how his folks are beaming (literally, they light up!) Parents are always so proud of their offspring.
Looks like the baby is a chip off the old block too.
Oh and just so you know he'll be leaving the woods
sooner than expected.
Why you may ask? Well that's because he's being "given away", and YES, you may throw your hat into the ring by leaving your comment/name/email below this posting.
Don't mind the strange sounds, it's just the nutty noggin's who've fallen to the ground.
Mind you, they've not fallen not far from the tree.
What's that you said?
Oh, you've enjoyed yourself, but you have to leave.
I think you can clearly see we've enjoyed every minute of our time with you.
We hope you'll come back a little later this week when the party is winding down.
The majority of the guests will be free to leave.
I am hopeful that they will find lovely new homes to frolic and play in.
For now we - as in me and the big, glowing oak tree bid you goodbye.
And while you're there, please tell her we wish her a
very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
xo, Lori
