The weather is beautiful and there's too much to do so...

and while I'm on my break... I'm keeping myself busy by cleaning and re-organizing my home. Of course, I'll be taking some time to relax with a magazine and a big old cup of coffee.

Something new... something for FUN!!

I thought it was time to try something new... well... sort of new. You see I started working on a piece of bisque about a year ago and to this day I still haven't finished it. It's the cat face in the upper right side of the picture. It's on a large plate. Needless to say, I am still undecided on the imagery I will use to frame it.

I did however spend yesterday working on two other pieces. A tile which will be a trivet (for me) and the smaller round plate which will be offered on eBay or Etsy. It can be used for a saucer, candle plate or dish for your house keys.

Two of the three pieces are at the Ceramics Canada to be fired and glazed. When they are finished I will show a pic here. So please stay tuned!

I was hoping I'd be similar to Miss Elizabeth Bennet... well who wouldn't want to be around Colin Firth? In the end I am most like Elinor Dashwood... but that's okay because Hugh Grant's not bad either ;)

Something to think about...

The other day in EHAG Chris Klingler of Designs by CK, brought up a very valid point... If you weren't thinking about backing up your graphics files, picture files, templates, fonts etc. etc. you should! I did, and although it took 8 cd's... I feel it's money well spent!!

Now run, grab those cd's or dvd's and back up your files... you'll be glad you did!
