"Boo" as Dracula ~ Halloween 2004

Halloween is almost here and I've got to tell you I am pretty darn excited!!! Tomorrow evening our son, affectionately nicknamed "BOO" will be trick or treating as "Darth Maul". He's almost eight now and for the past two or three years I have heard him talk about all things related to Star Wars on a daily basis.

I guess we all have our vices... his is Star Wars, mine of course is Hallowe'en.

Wish me luck on his make up. If it looks good, you'll see a pic posted here.

Am I missing the Halloween party of the century?

I think so!

I was invited and yes, if I had the extra cash for air fare I would most certainly be there.

I will however take solace in the fact that I will probably be privy to some amazing photos and at the very least I am expecting a good, long email about tonight's festivities. Thank you again for the invite Will. I know you'll have a blast... and you know I wish I could attend! :(

Fun for me... a little more "retro" is in my future

Okay, so maybe everyday can't be about Halloween or Holiday Art.

Today is "look" at what kind of fridge I am buying... and I do mean "I" am buying.

It was supposed to make its' debut through my back door tomorrow, but of course Home Depot being what and who they are, called to say it's on back order.

I don't know about you, but when your old fridge starts to leak water and drain across your kitchen floor (because the door seals are shot) you'd like your new appliance to arrive in a timely manner. (not two weeks after it's supposed to be delivered.)

For now I can just look at the pictures and dream about solid glass shelves, humidity controls, flip over ice cube trays, large condiment trays (we're all about the condiments in our house) and that wickedly cool GE logo.

originally slated to go on a banner with a bobble head of the same name.

BUT... instead I kept "SPOOKY" and made a t-shirt for myself!
